Republic Bharatदिल्ली में Special Intensive Revision यानी SIR के बाद वोटर लिस्ट में बड़े बदलाव का दावा सामने आया है। रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक दिल्ली की 5 विधानसभा सीटों पर 40 फीसदी से ज्यादा वोटरों के नाम ड्राफ्ट सूची में नहीं हैं। वहीं बुराड़ी, ओखला, बदरपुर, विकासपुरी, मटियाला, करावल नगर और रिठाला जैसी 7 विधानसभा सीटों पर करीब 1 लाख तक मतदाताओं की संख्या घटने की बात सामने आई है। सबसे बड़ा आंकड़ा तुग़लक़ाबाद से सामने आया है, जहां पहले 2 लाख 8 हजार 867 मतदाता थे। SIR के बाद करीब 92 हजार नाम ड्राफ्ट सूची में दिखाई नहीं दे रहे हैं। हमने ऐसे लोगों से भी बात की, जिनका दावा है कि SIR प्रक्रिया के दौरान उनका नाम कट गया या वे जरूरी प्रक्रिया पूरी नहीं कर सके। लक्ष्मी नगर के भास्कर गौतम का कहना है कि उनका नाम पहले ही काट दिया गया था, जिसके कारण वह SIR प्रक्रिया में हिस्सा नहीं ले सके। वहीं अंजू रानी के मुताबिक 2002 के पुराने रिकॉर्ड मांगे गए और प्रक्रिया जटिल लगने के कारण वह आगे नहीं बढ़ सकीं। अब ड्राफ्ट लिस्ट में उनका नाम नहीं है। Delhi's Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls has raised questions over a significant reduction in voter names across several Assembly constituencies. According to the data cited in the report, more than 40% of voters are missing from the draft rolls in five Delhi seats. Seven constituencies — Burari, Okhla, Badarpur, Vikaspuri, Matiala, Karawal Nagar and Rithala — have reportedly seen reductions of up to one lakh voters. Tughlakabad shows one of the biggest drops. Out of 208,867 voters recorded earlier, around 92,000 names are reportedly missing from the draft list after SIR. The ground report also features voters who say they were unable to complete the SIR process. Bhaskar Gautam, a resident of Laxmi Nagar for around three decades, says his name had already been deleted, preventing him from participating in the SIR process. Anju Rani says she was asked to provide old records from 2002 and found the process too complicated to complete.
