Nepal Flood Live Update: नेपाल में China की जल प्रलय साजिश? | Tibet | Glacier Brust | India | N18G China on Thursday rejected Nepal’s claim that a dam-related geological disaster on the Chinese side was responsible for the massive destruction caused by flooding in Nepal. The Chinese Embassy in Nepal described the allegation as fake news and also rejected claims that China failed to provide a timely warning to the Nepalese side. In a statement posted on Facebook, the embassy said that on the morning of August 26, a glacier collapsed in the Nepalese area following an earthquake or an earthquake-like event. This triggered a massive flow of mud and debris, causing heavy damage and leaving several people missing on both sides of the Gyirong-Rasuwagadhi border area between Nepal and China. China concluded its statement by saying that accusations would not help and that cooperation was necessary to save lives. The disaster caused huge destruction as water, silt, rocks and ice rushed through the Himalayan region, damaging villages, roads and buildings. Initial reports from Nepalese authorities also suggested that an earthquake may have caused the lower section of a glacier to collapse, triggering the flood.
