भरतपुर के डॉ. दीपक सिंह ने श्रीलंका के कोलंबो में आयोजित वर्ल्ड पावरलिफ्टिंग चैंपियनशिप 2025 में 3 स्वर्ण पदक जीतकर भारत का मान बढ़ाया. बेंच प्रेस और फुल पावरलिफ्टिंग में गोल्ड जीतने वाले डॉ. सिंह इस प्रतियोगिता में राजस्थान के एकमात्र प्रतिभागी थे. पहले भी उन्होंने राष्ट्रीय और एशियाई प्रतियोगिताओं में कई पदक जीते हैं. प्रतियोगिता के दौरान भयानक तूफान और कठिन मौसम के बावजूद उन्होंने अपने लक्ष्य पर ध्यान बनाए रखा. खेल और शिक्षा दोनों में सक्रिय डॉ. सिंह ने मेडिकल कॉलेज भरतपुर और राज्य क्षय उन्मूलन फोर्स में भी महत्वपूर्ण योगदान दिया है.
