20 जनवरी 1942 को बर्लिन के वानजे विला में एसएस और नाजी पार्टी के शीर्ष अधिकारियों की बैठक हुई. यह बैठक राइष मेन सिक्योरिटी ऑफिस के प्रमुख राइनहार्ड हेड्रिष ने बुलाई थी. महज 90 मिनट के बाद इन लोगों ने "यूरोपीय यहूदी सवाल के अंतिम समाधान" के लिए अपनी खूनी योजना बना ली. जिन देशों से यहूदियों को ट्रेन के जरिए यहां लाया जाना था, उन सब के नाम मीटिंग के मिनट्स में दर्ज किए गए. एसएस के लेफ्टिनेंट कर्नल अडोल्फ आइखमानवाज ने इस मीटिंग के लिए फाइलें तैयार की. On 20 January 1942, senior SS, Nazi Party, and German government officials met at the Wannsee Villa in Berlin. The meeting was convened by Reinhard Heydrich, head of the Reich Main Security Office (RSHA). In about 90 minutes, participants coordinated plans for what the Nazis called the“Final Solution of the Jewish Question”, the systematic persecution and murder of Europe's Jews. The meeting minutes listed Jewish populations from countries across Europe targeted for deportation. Adolf Eichmann, an SS officer and Heydrich's aide on Jewish affairs, prepared documents for the meeting and recorded its protocol.
