हुडको अगले पांच महीनों में ईसीबी के जरिये जुटाएगा 1.3 अरब डॉलर, शहरी बुनियादी ढांचे पर होगा खर्च
prabhasakshiनयी दिल्ली, 28 जुलाई हाउसिंग एंड अर्बन डेवलपमेंट कारपोरेशन लिमिटेड (हुडको) ने मंगलवार को कहा कि उसकी अगले पांच माह में बाह्य वाणिज्यिक कर्ज (ईसीबी) के माध्यम से 1.3 अरब अमेरिकी डॉलर जुटाने की योजना है। इस राशि का इस्तेमाल देश में शहरी बुनियादी ढांचे के वित्तपोषण के लिए किया जाएगा। सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र की कंपनी हुडको 31 दिसंबर, 2026 तक उपलब्ध आरबीआई की रियायती अदला-बदली (स्वैप) खिड़की के तहत ईसीबी के माध्यम से दो अरब अमेरिकी डॉलर तक जुटाने का इरादा रखती है।
हुडको के चेयरमैन एवं प्रबंध निदेशक संजय कुलश्रेष्ठ ने कहा, हमने चालू वित्त वर्ष में बाह्य वाणिज्यिक उधारी के माध्यम से अब तक 70 करोड़ डॉलर जुटाए हैं। शेष 1.3 अरब अमेरिकी डॉलर वित्तपोषण की आवश्यकता के आधार पर अगले पांच महीनों में जुटाए जाएंगे। भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक (आरबीआई) ने जून में बाह्य वाणिज्यिक कर्ज (ईसीबी) जुटाने वाले सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र के उपक्रमों (पीएसयू) को किफायती मुद्रा हेजिंग सहायता देने के लिए एक विशेष अमेरिकी डॉलर-रुपया विदेशी मुद्रा अदला-बदली सुविधा शुरू की है।
पिछले साल, इस वित्तीय संस्थान ने जापानी येन में ईसीबी के माध्यम से लगभग 70 करोड़ अमेरिकी डॉलर जुटाए थे। उन्होंने कहा कि इस साल हुडको येन के साथ ही अमेरिकी डॉलर में भी ईसीबी जुटाने की योजना बना रहा है। उन्होंने आगे कहा कि डॉलर के रूप में उधारी कंपनी के लिए पहली बार होगी।
उन्होंने बताया कि अब तक ईसीबी उधारी 6.25 प्रतिशत वार्षिक ब्याज दर पर आई है।
