News18मिर्जापुर जिले के नटवीर चौराहा के पास के रहने वाले प्रमिला देवी उत्कृष्ट कालीन बुनकर है. 16 सालों से कालीन बुनाई का काम कर रही है. 54 वर्षीय प्रमिला देवी को 2010 में उत्कृष्ट बुनकरी कलां के लिए राष्ट्रीय अवार्ड से सम्मानित किया गया है. राष्ट्रपति के द्वारा राष्ट्रीय बुनकर पुरस्कार से उन्हें सम्मानित किया गया था, उसके बाद से लगातार महिलाओं को बुनकर के क्षेत्र में प्रशिक्षित कर रही हैं और रोजगार के लिए भी तैयार कर रही है. प्रमिला देवी का कहना है की नई पीढ़ी को बुनकर की कलां से जोड़ना उनका पहली प्राथमिकता है.
