Badrinath Temple दान चोरी मामला: CCTV फुटेज के आधार पर SIT ने BKTC के रिटायर्ड कर्मचारी को किया गिरफ्तार

उत्तराखंड की चमोली पुलिस की एक स्पेशल इन्वेस्टिगेशन टीम (SIT) ने शुक्रवार को बद्रीनाथ-केदारनाथ मंदिर समिति (BKTC) के एक रिटायर्ड कर्मचारी को मंदिर के दान कक्ष से कथित तौर पर नकदी चुराने के आरोप में गिरफ्तार किया। पुलिस ने बताया कि CCTV फुटेज में वह 30 जून को रिटायर होने से पहले तीन बार पैसे अपनी जेब में रखते हुए दिखे। बद्रीनाथ पुलिस स्टेशन के स्टेशन हाउस ऑफिसर (SHO) महादेव उनियाल ने कहा कि हमें बद्रीनाथ मंदिर में दान की चोरी के मामले में मंदिर के पूर्व अधिकारी राजेंद्र चौहान की भूमिका का पता चला है। हमारे द्वारा देखे गए CCTV फुटेज में वह 22, 25 और 29 जून को तीन बार कैश अपनी जेब में रखते हुए पाए गए। वह 30 जून को रिटायर हुए थे।

SHO उनियाल ने बताया कि उन्होंने शुक्रवार दोपहर चौहान को गिरफ्तार किया और शनिवार को उन्हें कोर्ट में पेश करेंगे। पुलिस ने इस मामले में BKTC के सस्पेंड किए गए कर्मचारी प्रमोद नौटियाल को भी गिरफ्तार किया है, जो BKTC चेयरमैन के ऑफिस में पर्सनल असिस्टेंट के तौर पर काम कर रहे थे। SHO ने कहा कि शुरुआती सबूतों से पता चलता है कि दोनों आरोपियों ने मिलकर यह साजिश रची थी। हालांकि, उनकी भूमिका का पूरा पता लगाने के लिए हम उनसे और पूछताछ करेंगे। उन्होंने आगे कहा कि पुलिस शनिवार को सेशंस कोर्ट जाकर नौटियाल की पुलिस कस्टडी की मांग करेगी। नौटियाल को रविवार को गिरफ़्तार किया गया था और बाद में 14 दिन की न्यायिक हिरासत में भेज दिया गया था। उनियाल ने कहा कि हमने दान की गिनती वाले चार दिनों — 22 जून, 25 जून, 29 जून और 2 जुलाई  के फुटेज की जांच की। आरोपी (नौटियाल) को चारों बार पैसे चुराते हुए देखा गया।

नौटियाल बद्रीनाथ मंदिर में VIP प्रोटोकॉल संभालते थे और दान की गिनती की देखरेख करते थे। BKTC के अनुसार, वह 2003 में समिति में शामिल हुए थे और 2014 में उन्हें पक्का कर्मचारी बना दिया गया था। पुलिस को अब तक चोरी हुआ कोई भी कैश, सोना या चांदी के सिक्के नहीं मिले हैं, सिवाय एक शालिग्राम पत्थर के। उनियाल ने कहा, "पूछताछ के दौरान वह अपराध कबूल नहीं कर रहा है और हमारे सवालों से बच रहा है।
