Others ताज होटल को बीएमसी ने थमाया ₹22 करोड़ का नोटिस, 26/11 हमले के बाद से बाहर लगे बैरिकेड्स का है बिल
News18Taj Hotel Mumbai: मुंबई के कोलाबा इलाके में स्थित ऐतिहासिक ताज महल पैलेस होटल मुश्किल में आ गया है. बृहन्मुंबई महानगर पालिका यानी बीएमसी ने होटल को एक नया डिमांड नोटिस भेजा है. इस नोटिस में ताज मैनेजमेंट से 22.03 करोड़ रुपये मांगे गए हैं. यह रकम पब्लिक रोड और फुटपाथ के ऑक्यूपेशन चार्ज के तौर पर मांगी गई है. 26/11 आतंकी हमले के बाद जून 2009 में होटल के बाहर भारी सुरक्षा बैरिकेड्स लगाए गए थे. इनमें कई तरह के प्लांटर्स और पिलर्स शामिल थे. आधिकारिक रिकॉर्ड के अनुसार इन सुरक्षा उपायों ने बड़ी जगह घेर रखी है. इससे करीब 800 स्क्वायर मीटर पब्लिक रोड कवर हो गया है. इसके अलावा 1100 स्क्वायर मीटर से ज्यादा पब्लिक फुटपाथ भी ब्लॉक है. इसी जगह को इस्तेमाल करने के लिए बीएमसी ने यह भारी भरकम बिल भेजा है. ताज मैनेजमेंट के लिए यह एक बड़ा झटका माना जा रहा है.
