A total eclipse which will be seen by people in parts of southern Spain, North Africa and parts of the Middle East, on 2 August 2027 and is said to be the 'Eclipse of the Century'. A solar eclipse happens when the Moon moves between the Earth and the Sun. The sky darkens, and people in the right place may see the Sun's outer atmosphere, called the corona, glowing around the Moon. Fire crews still dealing with a "significant number" of fires across Wales and England | BBC News
The chair of the National Fire Chiefs Council, Phil Garrigan, said further high temperatures in the England weren't being ruled out. "If we move into a sixth heatwave we need to be prepared and we need to be effective and certainly that focuses in on the role of fire and rescue services," he said.
