After CJP (Cockroach Janta Party), a new Instagram account named ‘Dimagi Naxal Party’ has suddenly grabbed attention. The account reportedly gained more than 1.7 lakh followers in just 24 hours, raising questions about who is behind it and whether this is merely a social media trend or the beginning of a new movement. The account emerged after Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Independence Day speech, in which he warned about what he called ‘Dimagi Naxals’ even as armed Naxalism is being pushed back. Union Minister Kiren Rijiju later explained the term and linked it to those he says support Maoists, separatism and positions against the Constitution. Meanwhile, CJP-linked activist Ashutosh Ranka responded by raising questions about government schools and basic education facilities in rural India, urging people to visit local government schools and demand improvements. The statement has also triggered a political war of words, with P. Chidambaram, Jairam Ramesh and Supriya Shrinate criticizing the remarks, while BJP leaders defended the Prime Minister’s statement. So, is ‘Dimagi Naxal Party’ just a viral social media identity, or could it become the next youth-led political movement after CJP?
