Women's T20 World cup semi final: महिला टी20 विश्व कप के दूसरे सेमीफाइनल में इंग्लैंड ने शानदार प्रदर्शन करते हुए दक्षिण अफ्रीका को 40 रन से हराकर फाइनल में जगह बना ली। अब खिताबी मुकाबले में इंग्लैंड का सामना रविवार को लॉर्ड्स में ऑस्ट्रेलिया से होगा। नट साइवर-ब्रंट और पूर्व कप्तान हीथर नाइट की शानदार अर्धशतकीय पारियों ने इंग्लैंड की जीत की नींव रखी।
पहले बल्लेबाजी करते हुए इंग्लैंड की शुरुआत बेहद खराब रही थी। टीम ने सिर्फ 23 रन पर 3 विकेट गंवा दिए। तेज गेंदबाज शबनिम इस्माइल और मारिजान कैप ने नई गेंद से जबरदस्त गेंदबाजी की। इस्माइल ने पहले ही गेंद पर एमी जोन्स को आउट कर महिला टी20 विश्व कप इतिहास में 50 विकेट लेने वाली पहली गेंदबाज बनने का रिकॉर्ड बनाया। इसके बाद उन्होंने एलिस कैप्सी को भी पवेलियन भेजा, जबकि कैप ने शानदार गेंद पर डानी व्हाट का ऑफ स्टंप उखाड़ दिया।

170 रन के लक्ष्य का पीछा करने उतरी दक्षिण अफ्रीका की शुरुआत भी खास नहीं रही। कप्तान लॉरा वोल्वार्ल्ड सिर्फ 13 रन बनाकर आउट हो गईं। सोफी एक्लेस्टन ने शानदार कैच लपककर उन्हें पवेलियन भेजा। हालांकि ताजमिन ब्रिट्स ने 51 रन की संघर्षपूर्ण पारी खेली, लेकिन उन्हें दूसरे छोर से किसी का साथ नहीं मिला।
इंग्लैंड के गेंदबाजों ने लगातार अंतराल पर विकेट लेकर दक्षिण अफ्रीका पर दबाव बनाए रखा। साथ ही टीम की फील्डिंग भी शानदार रही। एक्लेस्टन ने दो बेहतरीन कैच पकड़े, जबकि डैनी व्हाट ने सीनालो जाफ्टा को शानदार डायरेक्ट हिट से रन आउट किया। दक्षिण अफ्रीका की टीम 20 ओवर में 8 विकेट पर 129 रन ही बना सकी।
इंग्लैंड ने इस जीत के साथ पिछले कुछ सालों में आईसीसी नॉकआउट मुकाबलों में मिली नाकामी का भी हिसाब चुकता कर दिया। पिछले साल वनडे विश्व कप और 2023 के टी20 विश्व कप के सेमीफाइनल में दक्षिण अफ्रीका से मिली हार का बदला लेते हुए इंग्लैंड ने अब फाइनल का टिकट हासिल कर लिया। अब सभी की नजर लॉर्ड्स में होने वाले इंग्लैंड और ऑस्ट्रेलिया के बीच खिताबी मुकाबले पर रहेगी।
