Asian Games 2026: हरमनप्रीत कौर के हाथों में फिर कमान, गोल्ड बचाने उतरेगी भारत की मजबूत महिला टीम

Asian Games 2026: भारतीय क्रिकेट कंट्रोल बोर्ड ने मंगलवार को एशियन गेम्स 2026 के लिए भारत की 15 सदस्यीय महिला क्रिकेट टीम का ऐलान कर दिया। सितंबर में जापान के आइची-नागोया में होने वाले इस इन खेलों में भारतीय महिला क्रिकेट टीम अपने गोल्ड मेडल का बचाव करने उतरेगी। टीम की कमान एक बार फिर हरमनप्रीत कौर के हाथों में रहेगी, जबकि स्मृति मंधाना को उपकप्तान बनाया गया।

बीसीसीआई ने लगभग उसी टीम पर भरोसा जताया है, जिसने हाल ही में महिला टी20 विश्व कप 2026 में हिस्सा लिया था। हालांकि उस टूर्नामेंट में भारत का प्रदर्शन उम्मीद के मुताबिक नहीं रहा था और टीम दक्षिण अफ्रीका और ऑस्ट्रेलिया से हारकर ग्रुप चरण से ही बाहर हो गई थी। इसके बावजूद चयनकर्ताओं ने मुख्य खिलाड़ियों पर भरोसा कायम रखा।

एशियन गेम्स के लिए हरमनप्रीत कप्तान
टीम में जेमिमा रोड्रिग्स, दीप्ति शर्मा, ऋचा घोष, श्री चरणी और अरुंधति रेड्डी जैसे नियमित खिलाड़ियों को बरकरार रखा गया। विश्व कप टीम की तुलना में सिर्फ एक बदलाव किया गया है। बैकअप विकेटकीपर यास्तिका भाटिया की जगह जी. कमलिनी को मौका दिया गया।

श्रेयंका की टीम में वापसी
ऑफ स्पिनर श्रेयंका पाटिल की भी टीम में वापसी हुई। वह महिला टी20 विश्व कप 2026 के दौरान टखने के गंभीर लिगामेंट चोट के कारण पूरे टूर्नामेंट से बाहर हो गई थीं। नीदरलैंड के खिलाफ मैच में फील्डिंग करते समय गेंद रोकने की कोशिश में उन्हें चोट लगी थी और स्ट्रेचर पर मैदान से बाहर ले जाना पड़ा था। हालांकि एशियन गेम्स टीम में उनका चयन बीसीसीआई की मेडिकल टीम से फिटनेस क्लियरेंस मिलने पर ही अंतिम माना जाएगा।

भारत अपने गोल्ड मेडल के बचाव के लिए उतरेगा
भारत इस बार मौजूदा चैंपियन के रूप में मैदान में उतरेगा। पिछली बार चीन के हांगझोउ में आयोजित एशियन गेम्स में भारतीय महिला टीम ने शानदार प्रदर्शन करते हुए क्रिकेट का स्वर्ण पदक अपने नाम किया था। ऐसे में इस बार भी टीम से गोल्ड मेडल बरकरार रखने की उम्मीद रहेगी।

एशियन गेम्स 2026 का महिला क्रिकेट टूर्नामेंट टी20 अंतरराष्ट्रीय प्रारूप में खेला जाएगा। इसमें कुल आठ टीमें हिस्सा लेंगी। मेजबान जापान को सीधे प्रवेश मिला है। वहीं भारत, पाकिस्तान, बांग्लादेश और श्रीलंका ने आईसीसी के पूर्ण सदस्य होने के आधार पर जगह बनाई है। इसके अलावा चीन, मलेशिया और थाईलैंड ने 2026 एशियन गेम्स क्वालिफायर के जरिए टूर्नामेंट के लिए क्वालिफाई किया है।

अनुभव और युवा खिलाड़ियों के संतुलन से सजी भारतीय टीम का लक्ष्य एक बार फिर एशियन गेम्स में शानदार प्रदर्शन कर लगातार दूसरा स्वर्ण पदक जीतकर इतिहास रचना होगा।
