PM Modi Seychelles Visit: प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी शनिवार को अपनी तीन दिवसीय आधिकारिक यात्रा पर सेशेल्स पहुंचे। अंतरराष्ट्रीय हवाई अड्डे पर सेशेल्स के राष्ट्रपति डॉ. पैट्रिक हर्मिनी और एक उच्च स्तरीय प्रतिनिधिमंडल ने उनका भव्य स्वागत किया। इस दौरान पीएम मोदी को वहां औपचारिक 'गार्ड ऑफ ऑनर' भी दिया गया। प्रधानमंत्री ने हवाई अड्डे पर मिले इस स्नेह के लिए राष्ट्रपति हर्मिनी का आभार व्यक्त किया।
'विजन महासागर' और रणनीतिक साझेदारी
अपनी रवानगी से पहले पीएम मोदी ने कहा कि सेशेल्स भारत का एक मूल्यवान समुद्री पड़ोसी और मित्र है। यह यात्रा भारत के 'विज़न महासागर' (Mutual and Holistic Advancement for Security and Growth Across Regions) के प्रति साझा प्रतिबद्धता को दर्शाती है। उन्होंने कहा कि वे हिंद महासागर क्षेत्र में सुरक्षा और समृद्धि को बढ़ाने के लिए सेशेल्स के साथ मिलकर काम करने को उत्सुक हैं।

बोटैनिकल गार्डन में लगाया पौधा
सेशेल्स पहुंचने के बाद पीएम मोदी ने राष्ट्रपति डॉ. पैट्रिक हर्मिनी के साथ नेशनल बोटैनिकल गार्डन का दौरा किया। वहां उन्होंने एक पौधा लगाकर द्विपक्षीय संबंधों की जड़ों को और गहरा करने का प्रतीक पेश किया। राष्ट्रपति हर्मिनी के साथ उनकी यह मुलाकात दोनों देशों के बीच व्यक्तिगत और राजनयिक स्तर पर बढ़ते जुड़ाव को दिखाती है।

यात्रा का मुख्य एजेंडा
प्रधानमंत्री मोदी सेशेल्स के नेशनल डे की स्वर्ण जयंती समारोह में 'गेस्ट ऑफ ऑनर' के रूप में शामिल होंगे। इस अवसर पर भारतीय सशस्त्र बलों का एक दल और भारतीय नौसेना के दो जहाज भी हिस्सा लेंगे। यात्रा के दौरान दोनों नेता:
- समुद्री सुरक्षा और रक्षा सहयोग की समीक्षा करेंगे।
- स्वास्थ्य, शिक्षा और क्षमता निर्माण पर चर्चा करेंगे।
- जलवायु लचीलापन और ब्लू इकोनॉमी जैसे क्षेत्रों में साझेदारी को और मजबूत करेंगे।
- पीएम मोदी सेशेल्स की नेशनल असेंबली को संबोधित करेंगे और भारतीय समुदाय के साथ संवाद करेंगे।

भारत-सेशेल्स के पुराने संबंध
प्रधानमंत्री मोदी ने आखिरी बार 2015 में सेशेल्स का दौरा किया था, जबकि राष्ट्रपति हर्मिनी इस साल की शुरुआत में भारत आए थे। सेशेल्स की आजादी (1976) के बाद से ही दोनों देशों के बीच राजनयिक संबंध कायम हैं। पिछले पाँच दशकों में रक्षा, सतत विकास और आर्थिक मोर्चों पर दोनों राष्ट्रों के बीच सहयोग लगातार बढ़ता गया है। यह यात्रा इस पुरानी दोस्ती को नई ऊंचाई पर ले जाने का एक बड़ा मौका है।
