भारत के ड्रेसिंग रूम में तेजी से अपनी जगह बना रहे 15 साल के वैभव सूर्यवंशी को लेकर टीम इंडिया के सलामी बल्लेबाज अभिषेक शर्मा ने बड़ा बयान दिया। अभिषेक ने कहा कि वैभव बेहद जिज्ञासु खिलाड़ी हैं, हर समय कुछ नया सीखना चाहते हैं और लगातार सवाल पूछते रहते। टीम के सभी सीनियर खिलाड़ी उनकी इसी सीखने की ललक को देखकर उन्हें सहज महसूस कराने की पूरी कोशिश कर रहे।
आयरलैंड दौरे पर पहली बार सीनियर भारतीय टीम का हिस्सा बने वैभव सूर्यवंशी भले ही पहले टी20 मुकाबले में प्लेइंग इलेवन में जगह नहीं बना सके, लेकिन टीम के अंदर उनकी मौजूदगी लगातार चर्चा का विषय बनी हुई। आईपीएल 2026 और उसके बाद इंडिया-ए के लिए अच्छे प्रदर्शन करने वाले इस युवा बल्लेबाज से फैंस जल्द अंतरराष्ट्रीय डेब्यू की उम्मीद लगाए बैठे।
महज 15 साल की उम्र में वैभव ने पिछले कुछ महीनों में अपनी विस्फोटक बल्लेबाजी से क्रिकेट जगत का ध्यान खींचा है। हाल ही में इंडिया ए और श्रीलंका ए के बीच त्रिकोणीय सीरीज के फाइनल में उन्होंने सिर्फ 29 गेंदों में 94 रन की तूफानी पारी खेली थी। इस दौरान उन्होंने 11 गेंदों में अर्धशतक जड़कर लिस्ट-ए क्रिकेट का सबसे तेज अर्धशतक लगाने का विश्व रिकॉर्ड भी अपने नाम किया।
वैभव बहुत सवाल पूछता है: अभिषेक
आयरलैंड के खिलाफ पहले टी20 में भारत ने वैभव को डेब्यू का मौका नहीं दिया। टीम मैनेजमेंट ने उसी ओपनिंग जोड़ी पर भरोसा जताया जिसने भारत को टी20 विश्व कप जिताया था। लेकिन यह फैसला सफल नहीं रहा। 183 रन के लक्ष्य का पीछा करते हुए भारतीय टीम 148 रन पर सिमट गई और मुकाबला हार गई।
भारतीय बल्लेबाजी में सिर्फ अभिषेक शर्मा ही प्रभाव छोड़ सके। उन्होंने 49 रन की तेज पारी खेली, जबकि शिवम दुबे ने 25 रन बनाए। बाकी बल्लेबाज आयरलैंड के अनुशासित गेंदबाजी आक्रमण के सामने संघर्ष करते नजर आए।
अब दूसरे और अंतिम टी20 मुकाबले से पहले सबसे बड़ा सवाल यही है कि क्या टीम मैनेजमेंट वैभव सूर्यवंशी को अंतरराष्ट्रीय क्रिकेट में डेब्यू का मौका देगा। पहले मैच में मिली हार के बाद प्लेइंग इलेवन में बदलाव की संभावना बढ़ गई है और ऐसे में करोड़ों भारतीय फैंस इस युवा सितारे को पहली बार टीम इंडिया की जर्सी में मैदान पर देखने का इंतजार कर रहे हैं।
