अपने शुरुआती भाषण में आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजेंस, डिजिटल इकोनॉमी और रिमोट वर्क एप्लिकेशन के राज्य मंत्री, उमर सुल्तान अल ओलामा ने इस बात पर ज़ोर दिया कि आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजेंस मानवीय क्षेत्र के लिए नई संभावनाएँ खोल रहा है और संकटों का पहले से अंदाज़ा लगाने और उन पर बेहतर ढंग से प्रतिक्रिया देने की क्षमता को मज़बूत कर रहा है। उन्होंने कहा कि आज की टेक्नोलॉजी की एडवांस्ड एनालिटिकल और प्रेडिक्टिव क्षमता मानवीय संगठनों को चुनौतियों के सामने आने से पहले ही उन्हें बेहतर ढंग से समझने और भविष्य की ज़रूरतों का अंदाज़ा लगाने में मदद करती है। अल ओलामा ने कहा कि आने वाले समय में मानवीय प्राथमिकताओं को तय करने और अंतरराष्ट्रीय प्रयासों में तालमेल बिठाने के तरीकों में बदलाव आएगा। यह बदलाव एडवांस्ड टेक्नोलॉजी की वजह से होगा, जो समुदायों की मदद करने और मुश्किल हालात का सामना करने की क्षमता (resilience) बढ़ाने के लिए ज़्यादा असरदार तरीके अपनाना मुमकिन बनाएगी।
