 आधिकारिक प्रसारणकर्ता के अनुसार हाल में संपन्न इंडियन प्रीमियर लीग को रिकॉर्ड एक अरब 20 करोड़ दर्शक मिले जो प्रति वर्ष के आधार पर सात प्रतिशत का इजाफा है। रॉयल चैलेंजर्स बेंगलुरु (आरसीबी) ने अहमदाबाद में हुए फाइनल में गुजरात टाइटन्स को पांच विकेट से हराकर अपना लगातार दूसरा आईपीएल खिताब जीता।

‘जियोस्टार’ ने विज्ञप्ति में कहा, ‘‘टाटा आईपीएल 2026 को एक अरब 20 करोड़ से अधिक दर्शक मिले जो प्रति वर्ष के आधार पर सात प्रतिशत के इजाफे को दर्शाता है। इस सत्र में दर्शक स्क्रीन से चिपके रहे क्योंकि मैच देखने का समय 870 अरब मिनट तक पहुंच गया।

फाइनल ने दर्शकों की संख्या दोगुनी कर दी और यह अब तक का सबसे अधिक देखा जाने वाला टाटा आईपीएल मैच बन गया जिसे स्क्रीन पर 40 करोड़ से अधिक लोगों ने देखा।’’ विज्ञप्ति के अनुसार, ‘‘2026 सत्र में डिजिटल स्क्रीन पर अच्छी प्रगति देखी गई। कनेक्टेड टीवी 22 प्रतिशत बढ़ा। डिजिटल वीडियो पर देखे जाने वाले व्यूज 25 अरब तक पहुंच गए जो साल दर साल आठ प्रतिशत की बढ़ोतरी है। डिजिटल माध्यम पर क्षेत्रीय में मैच देखे जाने का हिस्सा 33 प्रतिशत बढ़ा।

मशहूर एक्टर और होस्ट शेखर सुमन अपने बेबाक अंदाज के लिए जाने जाते हैं। उन्होंने अपने टॉक शो 'शेखर टुनाइट' के लेटेस्ट एपिसोड में अपनी ही पसंदीदा 'कॉकरोच जनता पार्टी' और उनके मुखिया अभिजीत दीपके को आड़े हाथों ले लिया। जंतर-मंतर पर प्रदर्शन कर रहे CJP के कार्यकर्ताओं को मजेदार अंदाज में रोस्ट करते हुए शेखर सुमन ने उन्हें 'पलटने' से बचने की सलाह दी। इसी बहाने उन्होंने अरविंद केजरीवाल से लेकर पीएम नरेंद्र मोदी की सरकार पर भी तीखे तंज कसे।

'शेखर टुनाइट' में मनोज बाजपेयी के सामने खुलकर बोले शेखर

शेखर सुमन ने ये सारी बातें अपने यूट्यूब चैनल के शो 'शेखर टुनाइट' के 5वें एपिसोड में कहीं, जो 12 जून को रिलीज हुआ है। इस एपिसोड में बॉलीवुड के दिग्गज एक्टर मनोज बाजपेयी मेहमान बनकर पहुंचे थे। शो के दौरान शेखर सुमन ने जंतर-मंतर पर चल रहे CJP के आंदोलन का जिक्र करते हुए कहा कि देश की जनता में उम्मीदें तो जगा दी हैं, लेकिन वहां से 'छू-मंतर' मत हो जाना। अब इस शो के मजेदार क्लिप्स सोशल मीडिया पर जमकर वायरल हो रहे हैं।

अरविंद केजरीवाल पर साधा निशाना

शेखर सुमन ने जंतर-मंतर के इतिहास का हवाला देते हुए आम आदमी पार्टी के मुखिया अरविंद केजरीवाल पर तीखा कटाक्ष किया। उन्होंने कहा, "जंतर-मंतर का पलटने का पुराना इतिहास रहा है। देखिए ना, केजरीवाल जी यहीं से कहकर गए थे कि राजनीति में नहीं जाऊंगा, फिर पलट गए। बोले- सरकारी मकान और गाड़ी नहीं लूंगा, फिर पलट गए।" शेखर ने चेतावनी भरे अंदाज में कहा कि अगर इस बार भी ऐसा ही हुआ, तो फिर आप का झाड़ू भी कुछ नहीं कर पाएगा।

कॉकरोच एक बार पलट गया, तो सीधा नहीं हो सकता

शेखर सुमन ने कॉकरोच का उदाहरण देते हुए CJP के कार्यकर्ताओं को मजेदार सलाह दी। उन्होंने कहा, "कॉकरोचों आप मत पलटिएगा, क्योंकि कॉकरोच अगर एक बार पीठ के बल पलट गया, तो वह तब तक सीधा नहीं हो सकता जब तक कोई उसे सीधा ना करे। जिंदा लोकतंत्र में आवाज जिंदा रहनी चाहिए, वरना औंधे पड़े-पड़े हाथ-पैर मारते रह जाओगे और सब हंसी-थट्टा बनकर रह जाएगा।"

तपती धूप में बेहोश होने पर अभिजीत दीपके को घेरा

शो के आखिरी हिस्से में शेखर सुमन ने अमेरिका से भारत आए CJP के मुखिया अभिजीत दीपके पर भी चुटकी ली। दिल्ली की भीषण गर्मी और लू के कारण अभिजीत के बेहोश होने की खबर पर तंज कसते हुए उन्होंने कहा, "भीड़ तो इकट्ठा कर ली, लेकिन खबर आई है कि दोपहर 3 बजकर 3 मिनट पर कॉकरोच का मुखिया दिल्ली की तपती लू की वजह से औंधा हो गया।" इसी बहाने उन्होंने दिल्ली की गर्मी और सरकारी इंतजामों को लेकर मोदी सरकार को भी आड़े हाथों लिया।
