बुडगाम पुलिस ने मंगलवार को गलवानपोरा गांव की नाबालिग लड़की की हत्या के मामले में शामिल आरोपियों की पहचान और विवरण का खुलासा किया। जांच से संबंधित आवश्यक चिकित्सा-कानूनी, फोरेंसिक और साक्ष्य संबंधी प्रक्रियाएं पूरी करने के बाद यह खुलासा किया गया। गलवानपोरा गांव की नाबालिग लड़की की हत्या के संबंध में बुडगाम पुलिस स्टेशन में दर्ज एफआईआर की जांच जारी रखते हुए, बुडगाम पुलिस ने मामले में आरोपियों की गिरफ्तारी से संबंधित प्रारंभिक चिकित्सा-कानूनी, फोरेंसिक और साक्ष्य संबंधी प्रक्रियाएं पूरी कर ली हैं। आरोपियों की पहचान और विवरण का खुलासा पहले नहीं किया गया था क्योंकि जांच के प्रारंभिक चरण में कई महत्वपूर्ण कानूनी प्रक्रियाएं चल रही थीं, और साक्ष्य और कानूनी प्रक्रिया में किसी भी प्रकार की बाधा से बचने के लिए ऐसा किया गया था।
आवश्यक औपचारिकताओं के पूर्ण होने पर, अपराध में शामिल आरोपी का विवरण इस प्रकार प्रकट किया जाता है: मुदासिर अहमद मीर, पिता गुलाम नबी मीर, निवासी गलवानपोरा सेबदान, बुडगाम। अब तक की गई जांच से यह सिद्ध हो चुका है कि अपराध में कोई अन्य व्यक्ति शामिल नहीं है। बुडगाम पुलिस जनता से शांति, सांप्रदायिक सद्भाव और सार्वजनिक व्यवस्था बनाए रखने तथा जांच एजेंसियों के साथ सहयोग करने की अपील करती है। नागरिकों को सलाह दी जाती है कि वे कानून को अपने हाथ में न लें और इस मामले से संबंधित अफवाहें, अटकलबाजी वाली सामग्री या अपुष्ट आरोप न फैलाएं; ऐसा न करने पर सख्त कानूनी कार्रवाई की जाएगी।
मीडिया संगठनों और सोशल मीडिया उपयोगकर्ताओं से अनुरोध है कि वे इस मामले पर रिपोर्टिंग या टिप्पणी करते समय जिम्मेदारी और संयम बरतें। अपुष्ट या भ्रामक सामग्री का प्रसार अनावश्यक जन चिंता पैदा कर सकता है और कानून व्यवस्था बनाए रखने पर प्रतिकूल प्रभाव डाल सकता है। बुडगाम पुलिस यह भी दोहराती है कि किसी भी मंच के माध्यम से गलत सूचना फैलाने, अशांति भड़काने या सार्वजनिक व्यवस्था को भंग करने के किसी भी प्रयास से कानून के अनुसार सख्ती से निपटा जाएगा।
