Who is Raghu Sharma: आईपीएल 2026 में रघु शर्मा की कहानी इन दिनों चर्चा में है। मुंबई इंडियंस के इस युवा लेग स्पिनर ने बताया कि उनका क्रिकेट का सपना असल में एमएस धोनी के 2011 वर्ल्ड कप फाइनल के उस ऐतिहासिक छक्के से शुरू हुआ था, जिसने उनकी जिंदगी की दिशा बदल दी।
रघु ने खुलासा किया कि 2011 में जब भारत ने श्रीलंका को हराकर वर्ल्ड कप जीता, तब उन्होंने धोनी का वह विजयी छक्का टीवी पर देखा। उसी पल उन्होंने तय कर लिया कि उन्हें भी क्रिकेटर बनना है। लेकिन यह रास्ता आसान नहीं था। जालंधर के रहने वाले रघु एक ऐसे परिवार से आते हैं जहां ज्यादातर लोग डॉक्टर या इंजीनियर हैं। परिवार की परंपरा के अनुसार उन्होंने भी इलेक्ट्रिकल इंजीनियरिंग की पढ़ाई पूरी की।
कभी रघु का वजन 102 किलो था
रघु ने अपनी फिटनेस पर कड़ी मेहनत की और लेग स्पिन गेंदबाजी को अपना हथियार बनाया। उन्होंने बताया कि वह हफ्ते में 6 दिन लगातार अभ्यास करते थे और रोज 10 ओवर गेंदबाजी करते थे। उनका मानना है कि गेंदबाज के लिए लगातार अभ्यास ही सबसे बड़ा हथियार है।
आईपीएल में लिया पहला विकेट
विकेट के बाद जय श्रीराम की पर्ची निकाली
मुंबई इंडियंस ने रघु को पहले 30 लाख रुपये में खरीदा था। 2025 में वह टीम के नेट बॉलर रहे और बाद में चोटिल खिलाड़ी की जगह टीम में शामिल हुए। हालांकि उस सीजन उन्हें खेलने का मौका नहीं मिला, लेकिन टीम ने उन पर भरोसा बनाए रखा और इस साल उन्हें डेब्यू का मौका दिया। रघु शर्मा की यह कहानी बताती है कि अगर इरादे मजबूत हों तो देर से शुरुआत भी आपको मंजिल तक पहुंचा सकती है।
