पाकिस्तान क्रिकेट टीम का टी20 वर्ल्ड कप 2026 में बुरा हाल हुआ था, उसके बाद बांग्लादेश दौरे पर भी पाकिस्तानी क्रिकेट टीम की दिशा और दशा दोनों नहीं सुधर पा रही है। बांग्लादेश के खिलाफ तीन मैचों की वनडे सीरीज के पहले मुकाबले में पाकिस्तान की टीम 31वें ओवर में ही 114 रन पर सिमट गई। बांग्लादेश ने 15.1 ओवर में ही 2 विकेट गंवाकर मैच जीता लिया। इसके बाद पाकिस्तान के पूर्व क्रिकेटर बासित अली बुरी तरह भड़क गए और उन्होंने पाकिस्तान टीम और पीसीबी को लताड़ा है।
बासित अली ने पाकिस्तान क्रिकेट मैनेजमेंट पर सवाल उठाए हैं और उनकी प्लानिंग को भी घेरे में लिया है। उन्होंने सबसे पहले पाकिस्तान की पहले 10 ओवर में धीमे खेलने और सधी शुरुआत करने की स्ट्रेटजी पर सवाल उठाए। वहीं उन्होंने एकसाथ कई सारे युवा खिलाड़ियों को उतारने को लेकर भी सवाल उठाए।
बासित अली ने पाकिस्तान टीम मैनेजमेंट को लताड़ते हुए कहा कि, सबसे पहले गोली मार दो उस आदमी को जिन्होंने बोला पॉवरप्ले के 10 ओवर में कम से कम 60 रन बनाने का कहा। उन्होंने कभी खुद ग्राउंड पर क्रिकेट नहीं खेला। वह बस एक कागज का टुकड़ा पकड़ा देते हैं। क्या उन्हें दिखता नहीं है कि यहां कंडीशन कैसी हैं? क्या उन्हेंये नहीं पता कि भारत तक बांग्लादेश में हारकर गया है?
बासित ने आगे युवा खिलाड़ियों को खिलाने पर कहा कि, इस डिबेट को खत्म करना होगा कि युवाओं को समय की जरूरत है। दुनियाभर के क्रिकेट में जब युवा मैदान पर उतरते हैं तो वह तैयार होते हैं। वह अपनी छाप छोड़ते हैं। हमारे खिलाड़ियों को समझना होगा कि ये लोकल क्लब ग्राउंड नहीं है। ये एक इंटरनेशनल टेस्ट वेन्यू है। टीम के दो खिलाड़ी बराबर कह रहे थे कि वह मध्यक्रम के बेस्ट बल्लेबाज हैं आपने देख लिया उन्होंने आज क्या किया।
पाकिस्तान की बल्लेबाजी बांग्लादेश के खिलाफ पहले मैच में बुरी तरह फ्लाप रही। मोहम्मद रिजवान, सलमान अली आघा, दोनों अनुभवी खिलाड़ियों ने निराश किया। पाकिस्तान की तरफ से इस मैच में चार खिलाड़ियों ने डेब्यू किया। पाकिस्तान की टीम का स्कोर 82 रन पर 9 विकेट था और आखिरी में फहीम अशरफ ने 37 रन की बदौलत स्कोर 114 तक पहुंचा। बांग्लादेश ने पाकिस्तान को 8 विकेट से करारी शिकस्त दी और सीरीज में 1-0 की बढ़त बना ली।
