Rohit Sharma Virat Kohli: भारत बनाम इंग्लैंड के बीच 3 मैचों की वनडे सीरीज खेली जा रही है. कार्डिफ में खेले गए दूसरे मैच के दौरान एक ऐसी रिपोर्ट सामने आई, जिसने सभी को हैरान कर दिया. रिपोर्ट्स में दावा किया गया कि लॉर्ड्स में इंग्लैंड के साथ खेला जाने वाला सीरीज का तीसरा वनडे रोहित का आखिरी मुकाबला साबित हो सकता है. मगर, फिर बीसीसीआई सचिव ने बयान दिया कि ये सही नहीं है और लॉर्ड्स मैच रोहित का आखिरी वनडे नहीं होगा. अब पाकिस्तान के पूर्व क्रिकेटर बासित अली ने भी रोहित शर्मा के रिटायरमेंट वाले मामले पर प्रतिक्रिया दी है और उन्होंने तो रोहित के साथ-साथ विराट को भी संन्यास लेने की बात कह दी है.

रोहित शर्मा को लेकर पाकिस्तान से आया बयान

भारतीय स्टार क्रिकेटर रोहित शर्मा के रिटायरमेंट की चर्चा अब पाकिस्तान में भी होने लगी है. पूर्व पाकिस्तानी क्रिकेटर बासित अली ने अपने यूट्यूब चैनल पर बात करते हुए इस मुद्दे पर प्रतिक्रिया दी है. उनका मानना है कि रोहित शर्मा को तब तक खेलना जारी रखना चाहिए जब तक उनका प्रदर्शन टीम में जगह पाने के लायक हैं. उन्हें हालिया खराब नतीजों के आधार पर नहीं आंका जाना चाहिए.

पूर्व पाकिस्तानी क्रिकेटर बासित अली ने चेतावनी भरे लहजे में कहा, "अगर वो लगातार प्रदर्शन कर रहे हैं तो उन्हें खेलते रहना चाहिए. इस समय, यदि आप उन्हें केवल इंग्लैंड के दो मैचों के प्रदर्शन या गौतम गंभीर की पसंद-नापसंद के आधार पर आंकना चाहते हैं तो आपको विराट कोहली को भी ध्यान में रखना चाहिए."

विराट कोहली के भी रिटायरमेंट की बात की

साल 2025 में रोहित शर्मा ने टेस्ट क्रिकेट से संन्यास लिया था और उसके बाद ही विराट कोहली ने भी टेस्ट क्रिकेट को अलविदा कह दिया था. ऐसे में अब बासित अली को लगता है कि अगर रोहित संन्यास लेने हैं, तो विराट कोहली भी संन्यास का ऐलान कर सकते हैं.

बासित अली ने आगे कहा, "अगर आज रोहित की बारी है तो अगली बार विराट की भी हो सकती है. जिस तरह से विराट ने टेस्ट से संन्यास लिया था उसे देखते हुए इस बात की पूरी संभावना है कि ये दोनों खिलाड़ी लॉर्ड्स में एक साथ अपने संन्यास का ऐलान कर दें."

क्या है पूरा मामला?

भारत और इंग्लैंड के बीच खेली जा रही वनडे सीरीज के बीच रोहित शर्मा के रिटायरमेंट की रिपोर्ट्स ने सभी को हिलाकर रख दिया. रिपोर्ट्स के हवाले से खबर सामने आई कि इंग्लैंड के साथ खेली जा रही सीरीज खत्म होने के बाद रोहित शर्मा टीम इंडिया के आगे के प्लान का हिस्सा नहीं होंगे. टीम इंडिया के सिलेक्टर्स ने पिछले हफ्ते हेड कोच गौतम गंभीर के साथ रोहित शर्मा से बात की और आगे का प्लान बताया. इस बात से यह साफ होता है कि सेलेक्शन कमेटी 2027 वनडे वर्ल्ड कप के लिए शर्मा को टीम में शामिल करने पर विचार नहीं कर रही है.

मगर, इस मामले पर बीसीसीआई ने चुप्पी तोड़ी है और बयान दिया है कि लॉर्ड्स वनडे रोहित का आखिरी मैच नहीं होगा. बीसीसीआई सचिव देवजीत सैकिया ने PTI से बात करते हुए कहा, ‘रोहित शर्मा के भविष्य को लेकर मीडिया में काफी अटकलें लगाए जा रहे हैं. मैं जोर देकर कहना चाहता हूं कि ऐसी कोई चर्चा नहीं हो रही है कि रोहित रविवार को लॉडर्स पर अपना आखिरी मैच खेलेगा. रोहित भारतीय वनडे टीम का नियमित सदस्य है और जब तक टीम की योजनाओं का हिस्सा है, देश के लिये खेलता रहेगा. दूसरे शब्दों में, लॉडर्स वनडे उनका आखिरी मैच नहीं है.’
