‘यारियां’, ‘स्टूडेंट ऑफ द ईयर 2’ समेत कई बड़ी फिल्मों में लीड रोल कर चुके हिमांश कोहली की नई फिल्म ‘आर्यभट्ट का जीरो’ है। इससे जुड़ने से लेकर मेकिंग आदि पर उनसे हुई खास बातचीत... हिमांश कहते हैं...‘आर्यभट्ट का जीरो’ देहरादून के एक मोहल्ले की कहानी है। इसमें मेरा किरदार ब्रह्मगुप्त श्रीवास्तव उर्फ बग्गू है, जिसे उसके पिता हमेशा ‘जीरो’ मानते हैं। पिता चाहते हैं कि बेटा उनके जीते-जी कुछ बन जाए, जबकि बग्गू अपने सपनों की दुनिया बसाना चाहता है। यह पिता-पुत्र के टकराव की कहानी के साथ हर उस युवा की कहानी भी है जो अपने सपनों को पूरा करने के लिए संघर्ष करता है।’ फिल्म में मेरी जिंदगी की झलक भी है, तारीक मोहम्मद ने लिखी है कहानी हिमांश बताते हैं...‘मैं इस फिल्म से शुरुआत से जुड़ा रहा हूं। जब लेखक तारिक मोहम्मद कहानी लिख रहे थे, तब हम अपनी जिंदगी के अनुभव साझा कर रहे थे। मैं उन्हें बता रहा था कि कई बार अपने सपनों को लेकर सबसे पहले घरवालों को ही समझाना पड़ता है। मेरे जीवन में भी ऐसा दौर आया है। फिल्म के कई हिस्से, खासकर प्री-क्लाइमैक्स, मेरी निजी जिंदगी से मेल खाते हैं। सिर्फ मुझे ही नहीं, पूरी टीम को लगा कि कहानी में कहीं न कहीं उनकी भी जिंदगी दिखाई देती है।’ हर किरदार बग्गू की मंजिल तक उसे पहुंचाने में अहम भूमिका निभाता है हिमांश कहते हैं, ‘यह सिर्फ एक लड़के की कहानी नहीं, पूरे मोहल्ले की कहानी है। फिल्म में सोनाली सहगल, रवि किशन, नीरज सूद, अल्का अमीन, राजेश शर्मा, दर्शना बानिक, गोपाल दत्त और शिल्पा शिंदे जैसे कलाकार हैं। हर किरदार बग्गू की जिंदगी में किसी न किसी मोड़ पर आता है और उसकी सोच या सफर को प्रभावित करता है।’ देहरादून सिर्फ लोकेशन नहीं, फिल्म का एक अहम किरदार भी है बकौल हिमांश...‘फिल्म की शूटिंग देहरादून, दिल्ली और मुंबई में हुई लेकिन सबसे ज्यादा समय देहरादून में बिताया। करीब 65 दिन वहां शूट किया। दिल्ली और मुंबई का इस्तेमाल कहानी की जरूरत के हिसाब से किया गया है। क्लाइमैक्स भी देहरादून में शूट हुआ।’ पहले नाम ‘बूंदी रायता’ था, फिर फिल्म बनने तक मिल गया मनचाहा टाइटल हिमांश के मुताबिक...‘शुरुआत में फिल्म का वर्किंग टाइटल ‘बूंदी रायता’ रखा गया था, क्योंकि ‘आर्यभट्ट का जीरो’ टाइटल उपलब्ध नहीं था। हमारी पहली पसंद हमेशा यही नाम था। यह किसी और के पास रजिस्टर्ड था, लेकिन बाद में रिन्यू नहीं हुआ और फिल्म पूरी होने तक हमें यह टाइटल मिल गया। मुझे लगता है कि कहानी के भाव और पिता-पुत्र के रिश्ते को यही नाम सबसे बेहतर तरीके से व्यक्त करता है।’ लीड रोल मिलना रणनीति नहीं, किस्मत का साथ होना है हिमांश का कहना है...‘यारियां’ में भी मैं पहले थर्ड लीड के लिए चुना गया था, लेकिन वर्कशॉप के दौरान मुख्य भूमिका तक पहुंच गया। उसी समय ‘हमसे है लाइफ’ में भी लीड कर रहा था। सही समय पर सही मौका मिलना जरूरी होता है, लेकिन तैयारी भी उतनी ही जरूरी है। अभिनय के साथ-साथ अपने प्रोडक्शन हाउस के तहत भी फिल्में बना रहा हूं। ‘जूलिया एंड कालिया’ पूरी हो चुकी है। दूसरी फिल्म ‘क से कबूतर’ शिक्षा व्यवस्था पर आधारित है, जिसकी शूटिंग जारी है। इसका अगला शेड्यूल छत्तीसगढ़ में होगा।
