FIFA World Cup 2026: फीफा वर्ल्ड कप 2026 में स्टार स्ट्राइकर एर्लिंग हालैंड ने एक बार फिर अपनी अहमियत साबित कर दी। हालैंड के निर्णायक गोल की बदौलत नॉर्वे ने राउंड ऑफ-32 मुकाबले में आइवरी कोस्ट (कोट डी आइवरी) को 2-1 से हराकर प्री-क्वार्टर फाइनल (अंतिम-16) में जगह बना ली। इस जीत के साथ नॉर्वे ने 1998 के बाद पहली बार विश्व कप के अंतिम-16 में पहुंचने का कारनामा किया। अब 5 जुलाई को उसका मुकाबला 5 बार की चैंपियन ब्राजील से होगा।
मैच की शुरुआत आइवरी कोस्ट ने शानदार अंदाज में की। टीम ने दोनों विंग से लगातार हमले किए और शुरुआती मिनटों में नॉर्वे की रक्षा पंक्ति पर दबाव बनाए रखा। घिसलेन कोनान का शॉट साइड नेटिंग में लगा, जबकि यान डियोमांडे के शानदार क्रॉस पर निकोलस पेपे गोल करने का सुनहरा मौका गंवा बैठे। हालांकि नॉर्वे ने शुरुआती दबाव को झेलते हुए खुद को संभाल लिया।

दूसरे हाफ में आइवरी कोस्ट ने वापसी की। सब्स्टीट्यूट के तौर पर मैदान में आए अमाद डियालो ने पहले गोललाइन पर टीम को बचाया और फिर निकोलस पेपे के साथ बेहतरीन तालमेल दिखाते हुए दो डिफेंडरों को छकाकर जोरदार शॉट से शानदार गोल दाग दिया। यह गोल टूर्नामेंट के सबसे बेहतरीन गोलों में गिना जा रहा।
हालांकि नॉर्वे ने ज्यादा देर इंतजार नहीं किया। पैट्रिक बर्ग ने बॉक्स के अंदर शानदार लो-क्रॉस दिया, जिस पर एर्लिंग हालैंड ने बेहद करीबी दूरी से गेंद को गोल में पहुंचा दिया। यह हालैंड का टूर्नामेंट में पांचवां गोल रहा और यही मैच का निर्णायक पल साबित हुआ।
मैच के अंतिम पलों में अमाद डियालो ने फ्री-किक से बराबरी करने की पूरी कोशिश की, लेकिन नॉर्वे के गोलकीपर नायलैंड ने शानदार बचाव करते हुए टीम की बढ़त कायम रखी। अंतिम सीटी बजते ही नॉर्वे के खिलाड़ियों और फैंस में जश्न शुरू हो गया। अब टीम की नजरें ब्राजील के खिलाफ होने वाले बड़े मुकाबले पर होंगी।
