Supreme Court on Ethanol supply policy: एथेनॉल आवंटन प्रक्रिया को लेकर चल रहे कानूनी विवाद पर सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने सुनवाई करते हुए बड़ा फैसला सुनाया है। अदालत ने एथेनॉल आपूर्ति की मौजूदा पॉलिसी को हरी झंडी दे दी है और आवंटन प्रक्रिया को बरकरार रखने का निर्देश दिया है।
यह विवाद कर्नाटक हाई कोर्ट के उस आदेश के बाद खड़ा हुआ था, जिसमें अधिकारियों को एथेनॉल आवंटन की प्रक्रिया को फिर से खोलने के निर्देश दिए गए थे।
20 फीसदी एथेनॉल लक्ष्य पर अडिग केंद्र
सरकार का मानना है कि इस योजना के वास्तविक और दूरगामी परिणाम अगले साल तक पूरी तरह से स्पष्ट हो जाएंगे। सरकार ने स्पष्ट किया कि 20 फीसदी ब्लेंडिंग का लक्ष्य अपरिवर्तित रहेगा।

तमाम दलीलों को सुनने के बाद, सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने मामले में नोटिस जारी करते हुए अगली सुनवाई तक वर्तमान आपूर्ति व्यवस्था को यथावत रखने का आदेश दिया है। इस फैसले से सरकार को अपनी ब्लेंडिंग नीति को बिना किसी बाधा के आगे बढ़ाने में बड़ी राहत मिली है।
