G Sindhushree pole vault national record: कर्नाटक की 25 वर्षीय पोल वॉल्टर जी सिंधुश्री ने नेशनल इंटर-स्टेट चैंपियनशिप में 4.25 मीटर की छलांग लगाकर नया राष्ट्रीय रिकॉर्ड बनाया और एशियन गेम्स के लिए क्वालीफाई किया. साल 2022 में अपने इलेक्ट्रिशियन पिता को खोने वाली सिंधुश्री की मां दर्जी हैं. आर्थिक तंगी के कारण उनके पास खुद का सही पोल भी नहीं था. उन्होंने अपनी सहेली से उधार लिए पोल के सहारे यह ऐतिहासिक कामयाबी हासिल की. बिना किसी स्पॉन्सर और नौकरी के संघर्ष कर रही सिंधुश्री ने अपनी इस जीत को अपने दिवंगत पिता को समर्पित किया है, जिन्होंने समाज से लड़कर उन्हें खेल में आगे बढ़ाया था.
