ICC ने महिला क्रिकेटरों के लिए जारी कीं Return to Play Guidelines, अब मातृत्व और करियर साथ-साथ

इंटरनेशनल क्रिकेट काउंसिल (ICC) ने सोमवार को 'प्रेग्नेंसी के बाद खेल में वापसी' (Return to Play Post-Pregnancy) से जुड़ी गाइडलाइंस जारी कीं। ये गाइडलाइंस महिला क्रिकेटरों, मेंबर बोर्ड और मेडिकल स्टाफ़ को एक व्यवस्थित रूपरेखा (स्ट्रक्चर्ड फ़्रेमवर्क) देती हैं, ताकि बच्चे के जन्म के बाद कॉम्पिटिटिव क्रिकेट में लौटने वाली खिलाड़ियों की मदद की जा सके। ICC की व्यापक '100% क्रिकेट' पहल के तहत शुरू की गई इन गाइडलाइंस का मकसद यह पक्का करना है कि मातृत्व और प्रोफ़ेशनल क्रिकेट को एक-दूसरे के विरोधी के तौर पर न देखा जाए, और साथ ही खेल में महिलाओं की सेहत से जुड़े मुद्दों पर खुलकर बातचीत को बढ़ावा दिया जाए।

इस फ़्रेमवर्क के केंद्र में छह चरणों वाला एक तरीका है जिसे ‘6 Rs’ कहा जाता है – रेडी (तैयार होना), रिव्यू (समीक्षा), रिस्टोर (बहाली), रीकंडीशन (फिर से कंडीशनिंग), रिटर्न (वापसी) और रिफ़ाइन (बेहतर बनाना)। यह मॉडल एक विस्तृत प्रक्रिया बताता है जिसमें शारीरिक रिकवरी, मेडिकल जांच, धीरे-धीरे ट्रेनिंग का बोझ बढ़ाना, क्रिकेट के हिसाब से कंडीशनिंग, खेल में वापसी के नियम और प्रतियोगिता शुरू होने के बाद लगातार निगरानी शामिल है।

यह पहल ऐसे समय में की गई है जब कई बेहतरीन महिला क्रिकेटर अपने खेल करियर के दौरान ही परिवार शुरू करने का फ़ैसला कर रही हैं और बाद में इंटरनेशनल कॉम्पिटिशन में वापसी कर रही हैं। इससे साफ़ और सबूतों पर आधारित सपोर्ट सिस्टम की ज़रूरत का पता चलता है। ऑस्ट्रेलिया टीम की डॉक्टर फ़िलिपा इंगे, जो ICC मेडिकल एडवाइज़री कमिटी की सदस्य भी हैं, ने कहा कि इन गाइडलाइंस का मकसद खिलाड़ियों को माँ बनने के बाद भी अपना करियर जारी रखने में मदद करना है।

इंगे ने कहा कि ICC की 'प्रेग्नेंसी के बाद खेल में वापसी' (Return to Play Post-Pregnancy) गाइडलाइंस का मकसद खिलाड़ियों को यह दिखाना है कि बच्चा होने का मतलब उनके करियर का अंत नहीं है। इस पॉलिसी के ज़रिए हमारा मकसद सदस्य देशों को अपने खिलाड़ियों की क्रिकेट में वापसी में मदद करने के लिए ज़रूरी सुविधाएँ उपलब्ध कराना है। उन्होंने कहा कि हम जानते हैं कि कई सदस्य देशों के पास पहले ऐसी व्यवस्थाएँ नहीं थीं। हमारा मकसद इन्हें इस तरह से बनाना रहा है कि सदस्य देश अपनी खास परिस्थितियों के हिसाब से इन्हें अपना सकें।
