News18Ground Report On Abandoned Senior Citizens: देश में बढ़ती संवेदनहीनता की एक दर्दनाक तस्वीर इस ग्राउंड रिपोर्ट में सामने आई है, जहां कई बुजुर्ग मरीजों को उनके अपने ही अस्पतालों में गलत नाम और पता दर्ज करवाकर छोड़ जाते हैं. इलाज के दौरान जब अस्पताल प्रशासन परिजनों से संपर्क करने की कोशिश करता है, तब पता चलता है कि दी गई जानकारी फर्जी है. इसके बाद ये बुजुर्ग या तो अस्पतालों में अकेले पड़े रहते हैं या फिर NGO और वृद्धाश्रमों के भरोसे जिंदगी बिताने को मजबूर हो जाते हैं. कई बुजुर्ग आज भी अपने बच्चों और परिवार के लौटने का इंतजार करते हैं, लेकिन समय के साथ उम्मीदें टूटती जाती हैं. सामाजिक संगठनों द्वारा ऐसे लोगों को भोजन, इलाज और रहने की सुविधा दी जा रही है.
